Plato stated way back in the ancient era of Greece; "the power of the Good has taken refuge in the nature of the Beautiful." The beautiful that he spoke of was art. Of all the arts, Plato deemed dance the one that most influenced the soul. I don't know about you, but my soul could use some beauty right now, our world could use some more soulful beauty right now.

Let's make art of this movement we engage in day by day, week by week. Let's make art of our stretch, our bend, our rise, and our fall. What is a healthy habit for our bodies also has the potential to raise our hearts and minds; it has the potential to do what art does, to even be art.
